Fred. Olsen Windcarrier is preparing for the future by seeking a recent graduate to join the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association’s Maritime Trainee Program as a Fred. Olsen Windcarrier employee. The Maritime Trainee Program is one of Norway’s leading marine trainee programs. Since 2005, more than 240 trainees and 40 companies have participated in the program. The program’s official start is in August 2025. A successful candidate who is a recent graduate can expect to start by May 2025. A successful candidate in their final year of school will be expected to participate in kick-off activities in May, with an official start at work by August 2025.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with strong potential who is motivated to develop a career in the maritime industry. We welcome candidates who are recent graduates or have a few years of work experience.

  • A Master’s degree in technology, digitalization, economics, or law (other relevant educational backgrounds will also be considered)
  • International experience through studies or work in different cultures and locations is a plus
  • Good communication skills

Our ideal candidate is passionate about climate change, self-motivated, and maintains a positive mindset.

As a maritime trainee, you will be permanently employed by Fred. Olsen Windcarrier, and you will be assigned an internal mentor to support you throughout the program.
