We are now looking for a new colleague to strengthen our advisory team. The candidate will be employed within the Safety Risk and Reliability section in Maritime Advisory and be engaged in the 18 months maritime trainee programme organized by the Norwegian Shipowners Association starting in August 2025.

Our Høvik office is located in beautiful surroundings by the sea and can offer access to sailboats, kayaks, tennis courts etc. We have more than 30 activity groups for you to join, as well as gym facilities and a kindergarten located on our premises. It is also worth noting that we offer free parking and shuttle buses to and from Skøyen, Lysaker and Sandvika. 

The right candidate will, among other roles, be involved in: 

  • Risk assessments of of new technologies, digitalization and decarbonizaton in the maritime industry
  • Assuring fit for purpose vessels for safe, sustainable and efficent operations
  • Safety assessment of systems, technologies and operations
  • Using data to get insight and create customer value e.g. AIS data and ship traffic analyses
  • Development of new services to meet customer needs considering the fast-evolving trends within autonomous shipping and decarbonization
  • Manage the financial and commercial aspects of your projects to ensure success
  • Customer interaction and follow-up

We are looking for a colleague with:

  • Fluent Scandinavian and fluent English oral and written
  • M.Sc. or MBA or equivalent degree
  • Basic ship knowledge and understanding of the maritime sector
  • Interest within safe decarbonization and digitalization of shipping
  • Analytic and solution oriented skills
  • Commercial and business oriented mindset
